Washington Township Educational Foundation

Join with your fellow community members in our efforts to enhance the educational opportunities for the children of the Washington Township K-8 School District.  Together we can make a difference.

The Washington Township Educational Foundation is a community initiated organization, established as a non-profit, non-political group. Operating independently from the Washington Township Board of Education, our goal is to support our students and teachers and to supplement programs and curriculum.  Community involvement is a key ingredient for our success.

The Foundation will support our mission with funds raised through special events, such as The Fall Festival, as well as grants from charitable organizations.  In addition, we will be soliciting memberships from community citizens, families, teachers and district alumni.

All funds will be utilized to directly support and enhance educational programs in the Washington Township K-8 School District.  In an effort to continue to develop our professional learning community, one of our top priorities is to provide financial incentive to our teachers through a grant program.  Our goal is to finance innovative programs through individual teacher grants.  The first grant cycle will begin this spring.

Another priority will be the advancement of the current curriculum, especially in the Arts and Sciences, as we work to incorporate new technology into our schools.
