PRESS RELEASE - Literacy Initiative Launched with Henry and Mudge books!

The Washington Township Educational Foundation is a non-profit community led organization.

Our mission is to foster excellence in teaching and learning.

We welcome your support of our children’s education via the WTEF Literacy Initiative.  Proceeds will supplement the K-8 Libraries and Media Centers with book purchases, curricula enhancement materials, teacher supplements, and library media support systems.

The WTEF Literacy Initiative is the first of its kind for our K-8 district. The purpose of the initiative is to supplement the existing resources of the district and provide additional learning opportunities for all teachers and school children. The WTEF is interested in creating a community-funded effort to demonstrate support for literacy opportunities that foster excellence in teaching and learning.

The WTEF Literacy Initiative program is a year-round ongoing program that works with the district administrators and faculty to fund literacy enhancement materials and programs. All Literacy Initiative sponsors of $20 or more will be recognized at each of the school libraries via a plaque. Sponsorship may be in the form of an individual, a family, a gift, in memory of, or anonymous. If you have any questions please contact Christine Danis at (908) 876-0122.

Kindly print the below form and provide your information.  Please make checks payable to Washington Township Educational Foundation (WTEF) and return the form to the WTEF.
