The WTEF is looking for people to help with our many projects throughout the year as well as to serve on our advisory panel which helps with grant selection and to be the eyes and ears of the community and in the schools.  If you have questions, comments, ideas for project and things that need to be addressed in the schools we would like to hear from you.

The Washington Township Educational Foundation (WTEF) is a broad-based community organization dedicated to the advancement of educational opportunities for all district children in grades K-8.  Incorporated as a non-profit corporation in the state of New Jersey in 2003, the Washington Township Educational Foundation (Morris County) is a non-political educational organization that operates independently of the Washington Township Board of Education.

The purpose of the WTEF is exclusively educational and charitable, dedicated to enhancing the educational opportunities available to the elementary school students who attend the public schools of Washington Township, Morris County, New Jersey.  This goal will be accomplished through the provision of funding to said schools.  Contributions will be sought from individuals, foundations, and through such fund raising activities as may be applicable, to be distributed to support programs for the benefit of the students in Washington Township public schools.  The  Foundation is an exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
